Executive Mansion
In 1971 the building was completely renovated and expanded. The Greek Revival interior features elegant English Regency furnishings in public rooms such as this one.Other rooms house treasures such as decorative accessories from the Lincoln White House, an original Mary Todd Lincoln portrait, and a bust of Abraham Lincoln by sculptor Thomas D. Jones, who modeled it from life before Lincoln left Springfield to become president.
